The independent Q1 Tech Tracker Survey commissioned by Studio Graphene has revealed that 79% of businesses in the tech sector were "confident" (40%) or "very confident" (39%) that they will increase their turnover in the following 12 months. 91% plan to hire more staff, 67% plan to expand overseas and 66% are seeking further investment.
Brexit featured as a potential issue for UK startups with 53% of the participants noting that Brexit will have a negative impact on growth opportunities over the next year. An overwhelming 88% believe that the Government's handling of Brexit has been "awful" (65%) or "poor" (23%).
